The project is the result of a collaboration between Royal College of Art’s MA Desing Products, Service Design and Vehicle Design.

 

JOY is a speculative button-sized friend that sticks to the chest, and is the most efficient and less intrusive way to track our wellbeing. We can set JOY to track different functions (e.g. heart rate, posture) and she lets us know whenever we are not doing it in the right way. Additionally, we can let her know whether we feel good or not by gently tapping her at any given moment.
